Tengenan Pegringsingan

This mural represents the ancient Balinese village in Karangasem Regency called Tenganan Pegringsingan. The fascinating things that attracted tourists to reach Tenganan is the uniqueness of Bali Aga (Pure Balinese) culture that still holds the original traditions, ceremonies, rules of ancient Balinese, also the layout and architecture of the ancient Balinese. It is known for its gamelan selunding or Gambelan selonding music played on iron metallophones and gringsing or geringsing double ikat textiles woven in only 3 places in the world.
